I’ve been a Travel Specialist for 24 years now, and I adore my job. Working for Miles Morgan Travel is a real delight, and every day I look forward to meeting both new and returning customers and providing them with a vast range of amazing holidays. I’ve travelled across the world over the years, but I definitely have three favourite destinations!

Florida has to be at the top, for me. In May 2019 I took my three daughters and my parents on a trip of a lifetime across the Atlantic, to Disney World. We stayed at Disney’s Caribbean Beach Hotel, which was absolutely beautiful, and we enjoyed two weeks of adventure: thrilling rides, spectacular bonanzas and even meeting and dining with Disney characters! The most magical moment was eating my breakfast across from Mickey Mouse, Goofy and Donald Duck! The evening performance will forever remain in my heart: magnificent fireworks over the Magical Kingdom, illuminating Cinderella’s castle in a rainbow of colour. I’ll never forget it, and I don’t think my family will either!

Turkey is my second favourite, for sure. I’ve visited at least six times, and each time I’m amazed by the scenery, the history and the beaches. The all-inclusive resorts are second-to-none: from the small boutique hotels to the large, family-oriented resorts complete with waterslides and endless entertainment, Turkey really does have a beach-break for everyone. The staff and locals are lovely – they can never do enough for you! There are also some wonderful excursions. I’d really recommend taking a small boat through the Turtle Lake, and sailing past Turkey’s ancient tombs, which are lit up beautifully in the evening. My Dad and eldest daughter also went paragliding off the mountains in Olu Deniz and landed on Blue Lagoon Beach! It looked amazing, though not for the faint-hearted. We also took a sunset boat trip one evening, on which there was music and entertainment on the top deck, and it moored up on a small island off the Turkish coast, where we enjoyed a barbecue under the stars. My latest passion is for Las Vegas! In October 2023 I was lucky enough to visit, and it really was a trip I’ll never forget – I can’t wait to go back. Before going, I’d heard all about the lights, the casinos, but I’d completely underestimated how amazing it would be. Even as the plane touched down in Nevada, I could see the neon lights from the Las Vegas Strip, and I could barely contain my excitement. We ticked off many famous sights, including the classic “Welcome to Las Vegas” sign, and many of the world’s finest hotels: the Bellagio Hotel with its stunning fountains that dance to music (it has to be seen to be believed!), the New York, New York, the MGM Grand, The Wynn and the incredible Venetian, which offers gondola rides from its very own canal. We watched a magical show by the Cirque Du Soleil, and zip-wired over the iconic Fremont Street, with all its bars and restaurants. The highlight of my trip, though, was my first ever experience in a helicopter. We flew over the Las Vegas Strip at night, which was a really special moment, and is absolutely worth every penny. It looked like a Las Vegas postcard! This city is so special and has something for everyone, so I’d recommend it to customers without question. Viva Las Vegas!
