Travel has captivated my heart from a young age, so when a position in Miles Morgan Travel’s Gloucester branch opened, I was delighted! Fast-forward a year, and my knowledge and experience has developed so much through the incredible opportunities available in the travel industry. I’m always excited to come into work and share my experiences with customers, helping and advising them with creating the holiday they’ve always dreamed of.

I was lucky enough to travel a lot in my childhood, and before long, I knew it was going to become a staple part of my career. At the age of eighteen I began working abroad, experiencing many diverse and enriching cultures, from Greece to Sardinia to Dubai! These remain my firm favourite places to visit, offering incredibly unique and stunning landscapes. Through my travels, one of my favourite pastimes was to get up at the crack of dawn and watch the sunrise: it’s always a breathtaking moment, incredibly peaceful, and every skyline is different, so I always challenge myself to watch the sunrise in every new destination I visit! You truly never know what’ll be on the horizon.

Another treasured travel memory of mine will always be New York City. There are so many things to see, and endless things to do – there’s no city like it. If you’re not afraid of heights, I’d absolutely recommend a “doors-off” helicopter ride: I was suspended out the side of the helicopter! I was able to take in all of the classic tourist hotspots without any of the crowds and watch the bustling city from a birds-eye view. It was absolutely mesmerising and allowed for some incredible photo angles too.

I’m also a huge fan of cruising, after an incredible trip to the Caribbean. Sailing from New York, we docked at many impressive islands including Haiti and the Dominican Republic; the white sands, crystal blue waters were the making of a tropical paradise, that I would go back to over and over again. Postcards really don’t do these destinations justice, so I’m always excited to book Caribbean adventures for customers and let them discover the beauty for themselves.
