All about Conor
I began my career in the travel industry in 2012 and have worked in both Gloucester and Cheltenham, so customers may recognise my face from the years I’ve spent on Gloucestershire’s travel scene. Now, I’m really pleased to be working for Miles Morgan Travel: I’ve always had a passion for travel, along with a keen interest to visit and learn about different destinations around the world. I’ve been lucky enough to travel far and wide across the world, and I enjoy sharing my experiences and knowledge with both new and returning customers.
If I had to recommend three destinations that I think everyone should visit, the first would be Egypt. It’s my favourite destination: the hotels are top-quality, the sunshine is year-round and the beaches are fantastic, and that’s before considering the goldmine of ancient history that Egypt has to offer! I visited the pyramids of Giza and the Valley of the Kings in Luxor, both of which were unforgettable adventures. If you’re interested in a trip of a lifetime, this is the place to go!
My second choice would be the Caribbean. I travelled by ocean cruise, which was an incredible experience: the itinerary was amazing, docking at Barbados, St. Lucia, St. Kitts and Nevis, and Antigua. I was blown away by the stunning scenery and the tropical landscape. The cultures are so rich, with each island having its own individual energy – cruising was a great decision, to be able to explore so many in one trip.
The third would be Italy: a fantastic country to visit with endless iconic landmarks, cities and of course, the authentic Italian cuisine. I was fortunate enough to visit both Milan and Rome in one trip, catching the high-speed rail between the two cities, and couldn’t recommend it more as a twin-centre. While the former offers an exceptional quality of life that blends modern efficiency with rich cultural heritage, the latter holds some of the most spectacular and important ancient history on earth. It’s a stark contrast, but both are absolutely worth ticking off the bucket list.
I love cruising and have been fortunate enough to experience a vast range of ocean cruise lines. The market for cruising is so broad nowadays, with each cruise line offering a different experience to suit each and every customer. From vibrant family fun to pristine luxury, cruising is a brilliant way to travel. In 2023, I had the opportunity to hop aboard my first river cruise with Viking, which was unbelievable! The ship was beautiful, and the itinerary was perfect for city-break lovers! Check out my blog below if you’d like to know more.
If you are looking for assistance with any future travel plans, I’d be more than happy to help!
