I have worked in the travel industry for over 36 years and visited a large selection of cruise ships but WOW the new Celebrity Beyond is EXTRA EXTRA special. As I looked around this fantastic ship, I had many more WOW moments and cannot wait to send my lovely customers to experience this for themselves.
My stateroom was described as a virtual balcony suite and was as luxurious as any 5 star hotel. At the push of a button a glass panel would come down maying your balcony enclosed from the elements on those chilly sea days. Your balcony then becomes part of your room. A truly wonderful idea.
My suite was very spacious and offered lots of storage with a lovely selection of complimentary top of the range shampoos and body lotions in the luxurious bathroom. You could catch up on the day’s news on a large flat screen TV. The suite had lovely lighting that could be dimmed at the touch of a button.
One of my favourite parts of the ship was the Martini bar. Here you could sit and watch the world go by whilst sipping one of the lovely cocktails freshly prepared. Live music would be playing, and it all had a truly relaxing feel. A great way to relax and talk about your day.
The dining experience was very special. My first evening I visited the Italian and the following evening the Cyprus restaurant. Both has that WOW factor, and the cuisine was amazing. The selection of meals on offer means they always have something for everyone, and all meals can be paired with beautiful wines. You can pay a small supplement and visit the speciality restaurants should you wish.
The Spa and Gym on board have some of the best facilities that can be found at sea. You will also find a walking and jogging track that takes you around the ship. The pool area was beautiful and an ideal way to spend those sunny days.
Something that is very special is the service. Every single person I encountered just simply wanted to please you and make you happy. I would definitely be happy to spend my holiday on this ship and hope to return.
