I joined the team at Miles Morgan Travel in Yeovil a year ago, and I’m loving my role: there’s certainly never a dull moment! I’m proud to be part of a well-travelled and incredibly knowledgeable team, and I’m learning more about the travel industry every day. I’m also enjoying getting to know both our new and returning customers and kitting them out with the currency they need at great rates. I’ve worked in customer service for many years now, and I’m very passionate about providing a professional and warm-hearted experience for every customer that walks through the door.

My enthusiasm for travelling began with an unforgettable trip to the Balearic Islands, and then onto a handful of Greek Islands too. On these holidays, my eyes were opened to jaw-dropping scenery and wonderful new cultures, communities of lovely people and delicious new cuisine too. I’ve never looked back, and now I couldn’t imagine my life without travel.

Turkey will always be a firm favourite holiday destination for me. The beaches are beautiful, the hospitality is always warm and welcoming, and the food is consistently great. It’s steeped in history too, and though Turkey is often viewed as a fly-and-flop destination, there are so many fascinating day-trips and excursions. For those looking to learn about the stories rippling under the surface of Turkish culture, a visit to the ancient remains of the city of Ephesus is crucial.

Further afield, New York City is a particularly special destination for me. This holiday was so much more than I ever expected: there are the iconic sights of the Statue of Liberty, the Empire State Building and Times Square, of course, but there are so many things to see and do along the way. The city thrums with life, from the bright yellow cabs streaking from block to block, to the bustling pavements, the glamorous selection of stores and eateries, and the neon lights that illuminate the theatres at night. I felt so lucky to have been, and I’m dying to go again.
