I’m proud to be the Manager of Miles Morgan Travel’s Yeovil branch, and to work alongside a fantastic team who have many years of experience. I began working in the travel industry in 2001 for a large high street agent, and after a decade’s break to have a family, I’m so glad to be restored back in the job that I love. I’ve been working for Miles Morgan Travel for many years now, and I’m committed to offering top quality service to all of our customers. It’s so rewarding when customers come back into branch after their holidays and show me their photos and share their memories. There’s nothing better than knowing that I played a part in making it happen for them!

I’ve travelled across many of Europe’s most popular destinations, from Spain and her islands to Portugal and the stunning Madeira. I had a fantastic time in Madeira recently, and loved Funchal, its capital city. The market in the centre is bustling and vibrant, filled with fruit and vegetables, plants, fresh fish and local delicacies. The cable car up from the quayside to the clifftops offer amazing views of the city and the North Atlantic Ocean, and at the top there’s a spread of gorgeous gardens, and an old church with a stunning nave. Rather than taking the cable car back down the hill, we took toboggans which were so much fun! The track ends near the old town, which is well worth a wander around. Some of my favourite holidays have been to Greece. There’s something so special to me about the Greek Islands, and I particularly love Rhodes. There’s a lot of historical sites there that make for great excursions on more active days, and the golden sandy beaches are perfect for basking in the sun. The medieval Rhodes Town is gorgeous with its white cobbled streets, and a trip to Rhodes definitely wouldn’t be complete without visiting the incredible Acropolis in Lindos; the ruins of an ancient citadel. For customers in search of a Greek island to explore, Rhodes would always be my recommendation.

Cruising is a rapidly growing market in the industry, and one I take a strong interest in. I’ve been aboard many cruise ships for both river and ocean voyages, including Royal Caribbean, P&O, Fred Olsen and Avalon Waterways. I do think it’s a fantastic way to travel: the itineraries are cleverly constructed to ensure that passengers disembark at a lovely collection of destinations perfect for the customers their cruises attract. The on-board dining is great, the evening entertainment is always worth watching and there are an abundance of ocean and river cruises to choose from, offering a huge amount of choice.
