All about Jacky

I’ve spent the last six years working as a Foreign Exchange Cashier and have worked in customer service for over thirty years. Since I was a little girl, I’ve loved travelling and the exhilaration it brings; some of the highlights of my life have been overseas, and there are so many amazing cultures to explore and adventures to grasp with both hands. It’s great to work in Miles Morgan Travel’s Foreign Exchange Bureau, preparing customers for their exciting trips to come.

I’ve travelled to many different countries across the world, from living in rural Fuerteventura to tying the knot in Las Vegas. It could be said, though, that I am slightly obsessed with Orlando: to date, I’ve visited over 20 times! The Universal Studios are such great fun for every age, and the list of attractions and rides is endless, and seems to grow every year. My personal favourites are the Hallowe’en Horror Nights, that never fail to excite me with live entertainment across the parks, scare zones to walk through in which terrifying characters prowl, and an array of the most terrifying haunted houses I’ve ever dared to enter. For those with a strong stomach, it’s the best Hallowe’en event in the world in my opinion!

I also love Orlando in summer: the sunshine is lovely. When I’m in the USA I always like to watch a sports game for the true American experience, and over time I’ve watched many basketball, baseball and ice-hockey games. The atmosphere is electric – it’s a very different experience from watching it on TV!

In 1998, I got married in Las Vegas and I’ve visited many times since. There’s something so unique about the vast desert interrupted by a city of neon lights and sparkling buildings, dazzling shows and vibrant casinos. There are even slot machines at the departure gates! It’s a destination like no other, and I think it’s absolutely worth ticking off the bucket list.
