All about Holly

I’m ecstatic to begin my travel career working for the award-winning Miles Morgan Travel. From a young age I’ve always had a passion for anything related to travel: my favourite book as a child was a worldwide currency book! I’m delighted to be working in the Taunton branch, amongst a wonderful team of Travel Specialists.

One of my favourite travel memories was over the week of my 13th birthday: my parents and I took a special trip to Menorca. It was the first time I’d ever been on a plane, and I felt so lucky to be going on holiday. We hired a car and drove across the island, to ensure we saw everything this picturesque little island had to offer us: from hills and grasslands to small towns and villages, as well as the gorgeous coastline. I remember visiting the tallest hill in Menorca, El Toro, and being able to see for miles across the landscape! I also loved looking around Sanctuary Monte Toro, the white-washed chapel at the top, and learning about the spiritual and historical heritage. The Spanish cuisine, of course, was also exquisite all week: I remember trying crab for the first time, and surprisingly loving it.

Another really special holiday was a family road trip to the north of France. It’s a really beautiful area: sprawling countryside, white cliffs and broad beaches, and a collection of lovely coastal towns. Of course, it’s also steeped in tragic history which is fascinating to learn about. The highlight of our trip was visiting the iconic Circuit De La Sarthe in Le Mans, a motorsport racecourse infamous for holding the 24 Hours of Le Mans race. It was fantastic! We even visited the museum, which had over 100 beautiful vintage cars.

I’ve always thought of myself as a wanderlust and I can’t wait to further explore the world, immersing myself in different cultures and sample local cuisines. My bucket list includes spotting wild penguins in Antarctica and kangaroos in Australia, strolling the beaches of Mexico and the Maldives, and exploring the wonders of Bali. That’s just a few: the list is endless!

I feel so privileged to be part of such a brilliant team in Miles Morgan Travel’s Taunton branch, and I look forward to meeting you soon.
