All about Vicky

I began my travel career over 25 years ago and have worked in various positions within the industry, including as a Senior Manager, before progressing into my wonderful role as a Travel Specialist in Miles Morgan Travel 10 years ago. I now work in the Portishead branch as a Sales Support, on-hand to help with visas, passport queries, arranging airport assistance and to ensure specific customer requests and needs are catered for by the tour operators Miles Morgan Travel work with. I also serve foreign exchange from our in-branch bureau, with fantastic rates that are difficult to match! In this new role, I hope to contribute to a smooth and carefree holiday for every customer that I serve in our Portishead branch.

I’m extremely lucky to have visited many amazing destinations over the years and have had some wonderful experiences: from heli-hiking in Canada to visiting an elephant orphanage in Sri Lanka and scuba-diving in Australia, I would happily say that some of the best times of my life have been abroad. Travel really is an exciting industry to be part of: there’s nothing better than hearing all about customers’ travel memories and being a part of their journey.

The Greek Islands are the most special destination in the world, to me. I recently spent my honeymoon in Kefalonia, which was just stunning: those beaches could easily belong on a tropical island, and the cuisine is absolutely delicious. The locals and staff were so friendly and made us feel instantly at home. For such a short flight, the weather was fantastic too! I’ve already booked our next holiday to Kos for summer 2024 and would love to explore the Greek islands more!

As part of my new role as Sales Support, I also enjoy arranging and hosting events in the Portishead branch, showcasing the products of top-quality tour operators that Miles Morgan Travel collaborate with. These events are always a fabulous evening for customers and staff alike, so keep an eye on our website to see what we have planned!

Just returned from a Cruise on the Funchal and wanted to say what great service we experience not only from Cruise and Maritime but also Vicky at Miles Morgan Travel, she kept us updated all way with the various changes. Weather cant be helped and under the circumstances we had a great time, Food was excellent and we really enjoyed our stay in Lisbon.
