All about Louise

I’m very happy to be joining Miles Morgan Travel as a Foreign Exchange Cashier. It’s also wonderful to be returning to the travel industry. My journey in travel started in 1990 as a PA to the Chairman of a company specialising in travel to Australia and New Zealand. I then went on to become a Cruise Consultant, among various other positions within the industry. I look forward to helping customers with their currency requirements and hearing about their travel plans.

I love travelling and almost always have something booked to look forward to. I’ve been very fortunate to have visited so many wonderful destinations and I have a long wish list that I keep adding to!

One of my favourite countries is Italy. For me it just has everything: breathtaking scenery, architecture, history, excellent food, lovely people and a beautiful language.

I also really enjoy cruising and love waking up in a different place every day. It’s such a wonderful and relaxing way to travel.

One of my most memorable family holidays in recent years was to Finnish Lapland where we stayed in a stunning log cabin. With temperatures well below -30^oC we were glad of all the overalls, gloves, socks and boots provided. I will never forget going for a husky ride. We were their first “victims” of the day, and they couldn’t wait to set off. They were so excited and noisy! It was truly a very special experience. With snowshoeing, cross-country skiing, a reindeer sleigh ride and snowmobiling, it was the adventure of a lifetime.
