All about Olga

Travelling and tourism have always been a huge part of my life. I’m from Ukraine, a country with a long history and a magical culture, and I have more than fifteen years of experience working in travel. Working for Miles Morgan Travel as a Foreign Exchange specialist, I’m proud to be part of an amazing and welcoming team of professionals, with high standards and a huge passion for providing quality service to customers.

In this job, there is nothing more valuable than our own travel experience, and I’ve been fortunate enough to take many trips, both as a tourist and a professional, to various incredible countries around the world. A true specialism of mine would have to be Egypt: I adored the country as soon as I arrived and have revisited time and time again. With a landscape of sweeping sands, the momentous history of the pyramids, and the infamous River Nile, it really is a destination like no other. In my time there, I fell in love with the stunning Red Sea, and decided to become a professional PADI divemaster! Since then, I’ve completed more than 2000 scuba-dives in its stunning blue waters.

Sri Lanka and Turkey are my two other favourite destinations, and I’ve visited both many times. Sri Lanka has endless unforgettable experiences to offer, with a widely diverse geography – beaches, mountains, forests and cities – a deep history, and a fascinating culture, rooted in the spiritual philosophy of Buddhism. It’s a place for healing, and self-discovery, unlike anywhere else I’ve ever visited. Turkey is also wonderfully enriching; I love the bustle of Istanbul, and the contrast of its beautiful stretches of sandy beaches. I couldn’t recommend either more, to those in search of rich, historical cultures to immerse themselves in!

I have an enormous passion for the ocean and I paint sea and ocean landscapes in my spare time, inspired by the numerous beautiful views I’ve come across in my travels. Alongside the Red Sea, I’m lucky enough to have also explored the Indian Ocean, the Black Sea, the North Sea, the Persian Gulf, the Mediterranean, the Aegean Sea and the Yellow Sea on the peninsula of South Korea. Many of my paintings are stored in private collections around the world! It’s incredible to think what we can discover about ourselves on foreign soil, as well as creating treasured memories – travelling has utterly changed my life, and I couldn’t be happier with every adventure it’s taken me on. I love hearing about customers’ adventures too, and providing foreign currency gives me the joy of contributing to those once-in-a-lifetime experiences!
