All about Suzanne

I’ve worked in the travel industry for 27 years now, and I love my job as much now as I did when I started as an apprentice! I have a real passion for travel, and a keen interest to learn about different destinations around the world. I’ve previously worked in Warminster, Devizes and Melksham, so it’s wonderful to have become a familiar face across Wiltshire’s travel scene. I’m honoured to be Manager of Miles Morgan Travel’s Devizes branch, and I’m enjoying every second.

I’m grateful to have travelled far and wide in my life: before starting a family, I took many adventurous solo trips, that I love to reminisce on! Nowadays, I travel with my family, and holidays have become a special place to spend time together and make wonderful memories.

One of my most treasured trips was a once-in-a-lifetime tour of Egypt. I cruised for seven nights on the River Nile, which offered spectacular views of the pyramids and the Egyptian desert landscapes and towns. I also visited Cairo, a fascinating city, and sailed across Lake Nasser, a beautifully scenic excursion with a captivating history. It was an unforgettable trip, like no other I’ve ever taken, and a highly educational one: perfect for those interested in ancient history!

As a family, we love Turkey, and always stay in the Paloma Grida Hotel in Belek, a gorgeous town in the Antalya Province. The iconic beaches are beautiful, the cuisine is delicious and the staff are wonderful. I couldn’t recommend it more for the ultimate relaxation in the Mediterranean sunshine.

Las Vegas is a guilty-pleasure, for me: I can’t deny that I’ve been many times, and absolutely love it. Each visit introduces me to a new and exciting attraction I haven’t explored before! There is never a dull moment, and the holiday can be as action-packed, or as relaxed, as you like! I enjoy visiting Las Vegas as part of a twin-centre, especially with San Fransisco, another fantastic city.

Thanks to my role at Miles Morgan Travel, I’ve also taken a keen interest in cruising recently. The market is blossoming, as both ocean and river cruises present the perfect way to visit a multitude destinations on one holiday, while enjoying the fabulous facilities that the ships have to offer. In 2023, I went on a spectacular cruise to the Norwegian Fjords – the scenery was unbelievable, the towns quaint and the on-board experience was fantastic. I cannot wait to go on my next one!
