All about Liz

I was delighted to join the Clifton branch of Miles Morgan Travel in 2018, and I enjoy the role of Foreign Exchange Specialist immensely. I’ve worked in the local area for over 20 years and am very familiar with Clifton Village and its customers, so to assist them in getting the most out of their dream holidays is a lovely way to spend a working week! My first job was a travel agent, so it’s great to return to the industry that established my career.

Over the years, I’ve had many wonderful holidays with my husband, who I met in Majorca in 1982: you never know what life-changing surprises travelling will bring! It’s difficult to choose, but my most memorable holiday would be our honeymoon in Kenya. We spent the first week on a fabulous safari, spotting the incredible wildlife and taking in the African landscapes before retreating to Diani Reef, a stunning beach resort near Mombasa on the very southern-most tip of the Kenyan coastline for a fortnight’s stay. It was the perfect blend of adventure and relaxation – the perfect escape! I’d recommend it to anyone, and I’ll never forget it.

Since then, we’ve visited stunning European destinations too: the Greek islands are great, with our particular favourite being Kefalonia. We’ve holidayed in Turkey, Sardinia and Spain, and revelled in the ease of short haul flights! For our 25th wedding anniversary, we visited Lake Lugano on the Swiss/Italian border, which was really special – so idyllic, with gorgeous views and a very peaceful atmosphere. The cuisine was fantastic too. It’s the perfect spot for a holiday!
