I’m thrilled to announce my new role as a Travel Specialist at Miles Morgan Travel’s Clifton branch! With over four and a half years of experience in the travel industry, my passion for travel remains as strong as ever. I eagerly anticipate creating unforgettable travel experiences for our customers, drawing from my extensive travels and industry knowledge.

Travel has been a lifelong passion of mine. From my first holiday to Italy as a child, through my adventures in my twenties living in the Middle East for seven years, each journey has enriched my understanding of the world, and of myself. One of my most memorable experiences was an incredible week in China, trekking various parts of the Great Wall to raise money for charity – an adventure that highlighted the beauty and cultural significance of this iconic landmark. While in China, I also had the opportunity to explore Beijing, including Tiananmen Square and the Forbidden City, which left a lasting impression on me.

My favourite destination is undoubtedly New York. The city's vibrant atmosphere, bustling streets, and infamous landmarks such as Madison Square Garden and Radio City Music Hall offer an unparalleled experience. The history and energy of New York are truly captivating, and I cannot wait to visit again. Sharing my love for New York and helping others discover its magic is something I truly enjoy.

Recently, I had the pleasure of visiting Punta Cana, at the east end of the Dominican Republic. It’s a fantastic destination that’s well worth visiting – the Caribbean is known for its beauty, and this is certainly one of its crowning spots for me. I was charmed by the stunning scenery – soft white sand, palm trees reaching for the bright blue sky – and the friendly, energetic community. The wonderful thing about travel is finding gems like these that you’d never even thought of visiting: each trip brings a fresh appreciation for culture, history and nature.

I also love visiting Greece, with its picturesque landscapes and rich history. I’ve explored many parts of Corfu, including Sidari, Corfu Town, Kassiopi, and Paleokastritsa, all of which were beautiful – it was worth delving a little deeper in my research of the island, to discover the quieter, less tourist-centred spots. The local cuisine was absolutely delicious, and I’d certainly recommend Greece to customers searching for a peaceful getaway. The Canary Islands are also great for this: they’re a favourite destination for my husband and I, where we always strive to venture away from the more tourist-populated areas to try out the authentic local dining experiences.

Interestingly, my favourite airport is in Finland. It’s incredibly laid-back and relaxed, a refreshing change from the usual hustle and bustle of airports.
