All about Robyn

I've been a Foreign Exchange Specialist in Miles Morgan Travel’s Clevedon branch for almost a year, and I’ve developed a true passion for my work. With extensive currency and exchange rate knowledge, I love serving our customers with excellent rates in the industry and advising them on the best deals – the cherry on the top of the holiday! Previous to this role, I was the Assistant Manager of a local independent travel agency for fifteen years; I have a strong passion for travelling and have gathered a wealth of experience that I love to share with customers.

One of the greatest joys in life, for me, is travelling abroad with my family. We really love to dive into the culture of the places we visit – sampling the authentic cuisine, exploring the local area and learning about the vivid, wonderful livelihoods of the community. In particular, we adored Venice – it’s an exquisite city break, but taking the time to venture beyond the main attractions, to the smaller islands, was one of the best decisions we’ve ever made. From picturesque, vibrant little fishing villages to tucked-away local beaches and stunning churches, these hidden gems are not to be missed! There’s a plethora of local trades and arts – infamous for their lace and coloured glass – that are fascinating to learn about, and the local markets are so authentically Italian! Of course, though, we couldn’t resist the classic gondola trip, which was a great experience.

My favourite destination, though, has to be Jamaica. I couldn’t have picked a more perfect destination for my honeymoon. Geographically, it’s so diverse: stunning beaches with a backdrop of mountains, sweeping rainforests and all nestled around fascinating local towns and cities. The best of all worlds, and the map for an ultimate adventure! The local people have kind hearts, and the food is absolutely delicious. Ready for an escape to somewhere magical? I couldn’t recommend Jamaica more.

Closer to home, the Greek islands will always have a special place in my heart. There is nowhere better for a laid-back summer break: a short flight delivering you to a culture of wonderful people, picture-perfect scenery and fabulous food. I visited Kos this year, and it was a daydream of a holiday. I’d love to explore the Greek islands more: those crystal blue waters and gorgeous soft sands are pulling me back!
