I’ve worked in the travel industry for thirty years now and can safely say that travel isn’t just a job: it’s a lifelong dedication and passion. After two years at Miles Morgan Travel, I feel more engrossed in the industry than ever: working for an independent agency allows me access to an enormous selection of specialised tour operators, ready to tailor-make my customers their perfect holidays! There’s no better feeling.

I feel very lucky to have travelled the world, visited many amazing destinations and collected truly wonderful experiences. Travel, more than anything, has brought me so much closer to nature, and has shown me the beauty of the world. Two of my most memorable experiences would have to be whale-watching in Canada, and swimming with dolphins in Mexico: not only were the creatures unbelievably special, but the landscapes and the oceans of these countries were also stunningly beautiful. I’m equally awed at the crystal blue oceans, rugged cliffs and sprawling beaches of the Greek islands, with Skiathos currently crowned as my favourite Greek destination.

I’m proud to be a Cruise Specialist at Miles Morgan Travel, for both river and ocean cruising. I’ve travelled this way extensively and have developed a real love for both cruising myself and booking these special holidays. It’s always a pleasure to cherry-pick the perfect itineraries for each customer, whether it be a short river or ocean voyage, a round-the-world trip or even a luxurious yacht cruise! One of my most treasured travel memories was a fantastic island-hopping cruise around the Caribbean. Waking up every morning to a different view was so exhilarating, and I spent my days wandering around each port, soaking up the sun, the heavenly landscapes and the vibrant culture of the Caribbean islands. It was a dream!

I have a particular passion for river cruising. They’re fabulous blend of different holiday styles: with the fine dining and luxurious facilities of a boutique hotel, the variety of destinations each day that ocean cruises provide, but these smaller vessels can access ports that nestle in the heart of these countries, offering a city-break feel! Recently, I sailed down the Rhine with Avalon Waterways on an awe-inspiring itinerary that stopped off at many iconic European cities I’d always wanted to explore. It was such an exciting and rewarding experience – I returned with a flavour of many wonderful cultures, and a burning passion to delve further into the river cruising world.
