I started in the travel industry back in 2005 and was lucky enough to experience many wonderful destinations whilst working for British Airways. I gained a real insight into what makes a holiday truly memorable to customers.

I feel very fortunate to have experienced so many wonderful destinations, some of my favourite include Bermuda, New York, and St Lucia, each for very different reasons. I completely fell in love with Bermuda’s colonial architecture, history and charming towns. The beaches were so beautiful, the food delicious and the exceptionally friendly locals made me feel right at home. Bermuda is small and compact, which made it very easy to navigate. The natural beauty and crystal-clear waters made it perfect for swimming and snorkelling around the coral reefs.

In contrast to the relaxing and tranquil Bermuda scenery, I absolutely loved my time in New York! Seeing the endless iconic sights such as the Statue of Liberty, Times Square, and Central Park was just amazing and quite surreal considering how many movies I had watched growing up with New York as the backdrop, and there I was, suddenly standing amongst it all. One of my real pinch-me moments was seeing the Plaza Hotel from Home Alone 2 for the first time and wondering through the majestic Grand Central station knowing the history behind it and just thinking about all the people who’ve walked through it.

New York is of course also amazing for shopping! It has great transportation and is easy to navigate thanks to the grid system, which I very much appreciated after a long day of shopping and tired legs! People watching in New York is second to none! One of my favourite memories was just sitting on a bench at the edge of Central Park with a coffee in hand watching the world go by. I’ve been lucky enough to be in New York in both the summer and winter time and it is unbeatable for creating the holiday magic during Christmas time with all its amazing festive lights and ice skating.

I feel like I could go back to New York every year and experience something new each time. It truly offers something for everyone, at any time of the year. My time in St. Lucia was simply unforgettable. Seeing the Pitons, enjoying the mud baths, and sailing out on a catamaran cruise with cocktails in hand was simply amazing! The scenery is just breath taking. I went cycling on one of the days, and what should have been a relaxed 2-3hour ride turned into a 7-hour cycling ‘adventure’ of exploration as we kept stopping off along the way. Needless to say, the gin & tonic I received upon my arrival back at the hotel tasted like absolute heaven! As a Travel Consultant, my mission is to make your holiday booking experience as easy and enjoyable as the holiday itself!
