Dubai is constantly changing and competing to be the biggest and the best in everything. So not only are the hotels here second-to-none, so too are the attractions, resturants and shopping malls. Dubai really has to be seen to be believed.

A great destination if you want some guaranteed sunshine, whatever the time of year..I have stayed both in the city and on Jumeriah Beach. In the city you have the Souks and the local Dow boats that go up and down the creek. For something different take a trip to the horse racing or play a round of golf in the middle of the desert! There is an abundance of shopping malls plenty of fabulous hotels. Give me a call for further information.

One of the highlights of Dubai is the famous Atlantis The Palm. Located on the iconic Palm Island, everything about the Atlantis is larger than life. Designed to exhilarate and destined to impress, this hotel even has underwater rooms, which look out into the aquarium. With a price tag of £10,000 a night, to say it is outstanding could be an understatement!

This is a place of fascinating contrasts, a distinct blend of a modern city within a timeless desert, a place where east meets west and where gleaming skyscrapers stand side by side with the intricate alleyways of the gold souks.

Dubai's luxury and attention to detail is second to none. I'd highly recommend a stay at The Waldorf Astoria in the centre of Dubai or perhaps trying a night or two at the Al Wadi Desert just a short drive away for a more relaxed and low key stay.

If you’re looking for beautiful beaches and glorious sunshine, coupled with lavish hotels and fantastic customer service, look no further than Dubai. Just a seven hour flight away, the ever-changing city of Dubai offers you a completely different trip every time you travel. I’ve been lucky enough to travel to many destinations across the world and when the opportunity to travel to Dubai came up, I couldn’t resist adding it to my travel list. Upon arrival, we were welcomed with temperatures of around 40 degrees Celsius; quite humid but bearable, especially as most buildings are fully air conditioned.

Colossal shopping malls, the tallest building in the world, a man-made island in the shape of a palm tree..... Only in Dubai! One of the world's most exciting destinations, Dubai offers endless fun, entertainment and guaranteed sunshine all year round. I’d be delighted to share my experience with you

Year round sunshine is just the beginning of the story for this destination which offers the perfect one-stop city and beach holiday. Although Dubai is best known as a beach holiday centre my experience of the spice and gold markets were what made my trip just a little different from many places in this part of the world. Another distinctive day of my trip was when I was shopping in the huge malls one minute and then I was skiing at the fantastic indoor ski centre the next. In so many ways Dubai is like a fun park with culture. It is true to say sun and sand are a huge part of the reason people search out this destination, but once there you will find plenty of reasons to leave the beach and explore the city. This city makes a great stopover on your way to many other places and makes a great contrast to the Maldives and Sri Lanka.
