Sun, Sea & Luxury: Brittany's Greek Getaway

Brittany easyJet Alexander the Intro

Our trip began at Bristol Airport. We spent a few hours in the Escape and Essence lounges before take off. These lounges provide a quiet break from the loud terminal crowds. The high-end decor and soft seating make the start of a trip feel more like a treat. We enjoyed snacks and drinks while we waited for our gate to open. After landing, we checked into the Grand Hotel Palace for the first night. The rooms were very comfortable which gave us a chance to sleep soundly and recover from the travelling.

We woke up the next morning and headed to the breakfast buffet. There was plenty of variety - bowls of fresh fruit, plates of hot meats, warm baked goods and cereals. This meal gave us plenty of energy to start the rest of our plans for the day.

After we checked out of the Grand Hotel Palace, we spent a few hours hitting the main spots in town. We kept the pace fast to see as much as we could. We walked past the famous monuments and stopped to see the old statues, including my favourite of Alexander the Great. Each stop gave us a better look at the city's history. We ended the trip with a few stunning views of the skyline from the high points of the city. It was a quick tour, but it covered all the big sights.

Our next stop was a site visit to Ikos Oceania. The resort looks great. We walked through manicured gardens that wind down to a wide sandy beach. We then headed to Ikos Olivia for lunch. The style there is a step up. It feels more elegant than Oceania. However, Ikos Oceania has a refurbishment coming up soon. New updates will refresh the rooms and common areas. Once the work is done, it will be hard to pick a favourite between the two. Both will offer a top tier stay.

Finally, we checked in to Meravia Leonardo. The view of the sea took our breath away. The blue water looks like something you would see in the Caribbean. The hotel sits high on a hill, but you do not have to climb. They have a lift that takes you straight down to the beach. You can jump right into the crystal clear water from there.

Brittany easyJet Sani resort

After checking out of Meravia Leonardo, we moved to the Sani resort. This place is more than just a hotel. It is a massive destination covering 1,000 acres. The resort holds five different hotels: Sani Beach, Porto Sani, Sani Club, Sani Dunes, and Sani Asterias. Each one has its own style.

Sani has a huge range of things to do. You can join world-class academies for sports or hobbies. If you like nature, there are 10km of pine forest trails for hiking. For relaxation, you can pick from five elegant spas. Food is a big part of the draw too, with 25 restaurants on site. The stay at Domes Noruz Kassandra offers a tranquil oasis with stylish interiors and inviting grounds, promising a serene escape and tempting future visits to explore the surrounding area. I thoroughly enjoyed my stay here and would be very tempted to come back, especially as I would love to explore the local area more!

One of the best parts about these resorts is the scent in the lobby. The reception area smells like a high-end retreat the moment you walk in. You can even buy the oils or candles in the spa too meaning you can take that luxury holiday smell home.

Today we spent the day on a cruise it took us to some of the best beaches and swimming spots in the area! While we sailed between stops, we watched pods of dolphins jump through the waves. The water was crystal clear, making it easy to see the fish while we swam. We spent a lot of time in the ocean cooling off. On the sand, we ate fresh gyros wrapped in warm pita. This day was the perfect way to end the trip. It gave us one last memory before we had to fly home the next morning.
