This is my first cruise and it was a perfect introduction with a two-night break from Bristol to Tilbury. It was so easy and such a treat to cruise from Bristol. From the moment we drove into Bristol cruise terminal we were greeted and directed by extremely friendly and welcoming staff. I was so amazed by how easy everything was made with staff at every station and corner to guide us through and offer assistance.
We were efficiently checked in and guided to our modern, tasteful and well-equipped rooms, greeted by cute heart chocolates on the beds. The next stop was a wonderful buffet lunch in the Borough Market and once again the staff were incredible and so helpful. So much wonderful food to choose from.
Our fantastic Ambassador hosts Ryan and Alan welcomed us and looked after us so well. Throughout the cruise, there were useful regular announcements to keep us informed of all the upcoming activities and entertainment on offer.
Another wonderful experience was the Saffron restaurant; the staff are amazing and so attentive and friendly. The food is incredible and I was really pleased to have spicy options as well as mild. The entertainment crew are amazing and again they are so friendly and welcoming.
Breakfast was amazing and again so much choice, the staff are wonderful with warm welcoming smiles and are so helpful. There was even a lovely gentleman making toast so I was able to grab my coffee and breakfast bits whilst my toast was being prepared.
A little bit of spoiling took me to the wonderful spa where the amazing spa staff are happy to show you the facilities and the fluffy bath robes and towels. I can honestly say I have never experienced a sauna like this one, I was amazed when I stepped in and there was a gorgeous big window and I could watch the ocean as I completely relaxed, it was pure bliss. If you want to feel truly indulgent there are plenty of spa and beauty treatments to choose from.
The amazing friendly bar staff were very happy to serve extra luxury with a glass of wine whilst we bubbled away in the hot tub on the outside deck. I absolutely recommend cruising with Ambassador, it was a great experience for me and I will most definitely be booking with my family.
I think it would be the perfect cruise for a lovely catch-up with all the family or a trip with the girls and enjoy being well cared for by the incredible staff whilst we eat fantastic food, dance the night away and explore new exciting destinations together.
