I was invited to cruise on board the ship 'Princess Caribbean' on the Western Caribbean & Mexico cruise. My trip began by meeting all my travelling professional colleagues from agents all over the UK. It was going to be an exciting week getting to know new people and soon-to-be friends.
We boarded our British Airways flight from Heathrow to Miami. On arrival, we were met by a Princess Cruise representative and swiftly transferred to the Miami Lakes Hotel for our 1st night. This hotel is one of the many that Princess Cruises offer their guests. It is situated in a good position, halfway between Miami and Fort Lauderdale.
The next morning, I had breakfast in the sunshine and went for a stroll around the hotel to check its facilities then, before I knew it, the coach was arriving to transfer us to Fort Lauderdale Port. It was busy at the port but all queues moved quickly and we were soon checked in.
We were given our Princess Medallion, a wearable device the size of a 10p piece that never needs to be turned on or off. Once on the ship, it replaces your key and credit card. It enables touch-free boarding, you can locate loved ones anywhere on the ship, use enhanced services like having items delivered to you, wherever you are, as well as much more. Once on board Princess Caribbean, it was evident to me this ship's centrally located Atrium certainly has the wow factor as it soars up through the decks of the ship, exuding a calm and relaxed atmosphere amongst the stylish decor.
Next, a quick look around my cabin, Deck 15 Grade L305. A lovely balcony cabin before meeting the group for dinner in 'The Palm' dining room. This was something I looked forward to every evening. The food was first-class with an amazing choice to suit all tastes and allergies. If you have an allergy or are gluten-free you choose what you would like for dinner in advance, the evening before.
The next day we joined an excursion to Princess Cays, Bahamas. This private island was a favourite of mine. After a fun day and lovely beach BBQ, we caught the boat back to the ship for another evening of fine food, with such a choice you will never go hungry.
Every day spent onboard is an adventure. There's endless entertainment, exclusive West-End style shows, street entertainers, world-class acts, feature films, Bingo, quizzes & much more. Whether you want to chill out and relax or embark on one of the enriching activities, your time on board offers you a world of discoveries.
Mind, body and soul, you will return from your relaxing cruise feeling refreshed after using the state of the art Spa, gym, and hair salon facilities.
Princess Cruises offer a wide selection of excursions for all ages, tastes and abilities these can be pre-booked to save disappointment or booked whilst onboard the ship.
Camp Discovery: There is fun for all the family at the complimentary Camp Discovery centres designed to help our younger cruisers play, create and discover through engaging activities. Whilst children enjoy the activities, parents can unwind in the spa and explore the shores independently. Babies, toddlers and preschool children are welcome onboard with services and amenities to make life easier for everyone
To summarise, this was an amazing experience and I learnt so much about Princess Cruises. I can highly recommend them. From the food to the entertainment, one of the best things about Princess -is the staff! Nothing is too much trouble and you are always served with a smile.
I am not a blog writer, however, I would be in my element to discuss any part of my Princess Caribbean Cruise with you, so please do not hesitate to contact me. Thank you Princess Cruises for this wonderful experience.
