Recently, I visited the 6* luxury cruise ship, Oceania Vista in Southampton, she is the newest ship to their fleet. After a quick check-in we visited the suites starting with the Owner’s Suite - wow the best and most expensive suite on the ship with its own bar, kitchen and dressing area - it certainly was very luxurious. Then onto the Oceania suites and Vista suites much cosier but still much more space than the standard suites. Then the penthouse suites and these were stunning, just like a 6* hotel room!
The whole ship exudes luxury, there are 10 speciality dining venues onboard, all included in the price, you just need to make the reservations. There is also a theatre which will seat all 1200 guests and one show per night so plenty of seats for everyone!
The food is superb, such a huge choice, and Oceania pride themselves in being a 'foodie cruise' which I certainly felt was the case. The facilities that impressed me most was the show cooking kitchen, guests can shop with the chef, bring the ingredients back onboard and then prepare, cook, and eat the dish in the private dining area.
Also, the artists loft, art classes for all are held regularly with different artists on each cruise. The spa area was simply sublime - total relaxation! For a total treat I would not hesitate in booking an Oceania cruise, with sailings from Southampton and also fly cruises there are many choices of itineraries all around the world. Absolute luxury!
