First Impressions
Date : 27/06/2018
The Dinarobin Beachcomber Golf Resort & Spa is located at the foot of the UNESCO World Heritage Site of Le Morne Brabant mountain and takes just 1 hour 20 minutes transfer by private car from the airport, and it is well worth the drive.
Upon arrival, I’m immediately drawn to the thatched-roof suites, which blend in perfectly with the natural surroundings. They are luxurious and spacious with a seating area by the window to look out and admire the beautiful gardens and pools that lead down to most scenic setting on the island. The feel is colonial, with wood furnishings, and the outdoor sheltered seating area is your own private terrace to ponder and reflect on the days events.
Club membership
Upgrades to to a Club or Zen Suite are available, and with this, you receive free Club membership, of which the benefits include: priority check-in & check-out with a dedicated concierge, as well as facilities of a private lounge with an outdoor deck where you can enjoy snacks, canapes, selected alcoholic drinks and high tea, plus much more. If you’re looking to make your holiday just that touch more luxurious and lavish, I would certainly recommend this upgrade.
Restaurants and Bars
There are four choices of restaurants and a further four at the sister hotel, Paradis, which you are entitled to use as a guest at the Dinarobin, so you will be spoilt for choice. From lunch on the beach at La Plage, to an a la carte Italian menu at Il Gusto, or pan-asian at Umami (which was probably some of the most flavorsome food I have ever tasted), eating at the Dinarobin is a fantastic experience every time.
There are also two bars, Butkik Bar, which serves fresh, cold juices and cocktails on the beach; and Le Mahogany, for pre-dinner drinks poolside.
The Villa experience
The Dinarobin Villas really are something special. Each one is secluded, with a gorgeous beach setting and fully equipped kitchen complete with ice maker, Nespresso coffee machine and wine fridge. Enjoy your very own plunge pool, gazebo, bar and BBQ area and even have one of the chefs cook for you. All this plus a daily personal valet service, two private golf carts, bikes and free membership to The Club, makes the Villas here a fabulous choice for an unforgettable holiday experience with a group of friends and family.
Final Thoughts
Overall, the Dinarobin is a beautiful resort set in an idyllic location; packed with luxurious facilities, beautiful scenery and a feel of tropical elegance. I’d recommend it.
