I recently went to Cyprus, a firm favourite of Miles Morgan Travel clients. I departed from Bristol, which was lovely and quiet on a Wednesday Morning. I would defiantly recommend this destination for a short break. The weather for March was fab, hovering around 25 degrees Celsius for the entire trip. We flew into Paphos and spent the first two nights in the stunningly gorgeous Columbia Beach Resort Hotel, which is a 5* deluxe and really lived up to its reputation.
I had an executive suite with a pool view that was amazing. The room was huge and had a lovely large modern bathroom. This hotel is in the Pissouri resort about 30 minutes drive from Pahos and about 45 to Limassol. It is ideal for a quiet relaxing holiday, with Pissouri old town situated above the Hotel offering stunning views and a real Cypriot feel. The Hotel has great facilities including a lovely Spa, where I got treated to a 30-minute massage.
We also visited many other Classic Hotels in Paphos whilst there which will help me recommend the right Hotel to my customers. The last night we spent in Limassol, at the lovely Hotel Londa, this is a deluxe boutique style Hotel, very modern and contemporary and perfect if you are looking for peaceful surroundings but want to travel into the old town/Port of Limassol with ease. Situated right on the sea front, the Hotel has an Italian feel and the food was just amazing, and would be the perfect Hotel for Honeymooners or couples on special occasions.
Cyprus has something for everyone. Finding your way around is the locals are very friendly and the majority of them speak perfect English. Pair the great hospitality with stunning local scenery and Cyprus provides an accessible yet luxurious and cultural holiday experience all year round. I will return for sure.
