Ulusaba Rock Lodge, Sabi Sands
The lodges are built out in the bush on the Sabi Sand Reserve bordering the Kruger, amongst the wildlife. There are 21 rooms, each furnished in the traditional, beautiful African style, with access to a swimming pool, gym and a spa, as well as an observatory for star-gazing. "It has unique rooms; mine had a copper bath on the balcony, under which wildlife roamed freely. Once, alone in the swimming pool, I saw a cheetah come down to drink; we looked at each other, and I managed not to drown!"

This hotel was the residence of King Umberto II and is located in the centre of Cascais.
