Day 1: Arrive Calgary

On arrival in Calgary make your way to your downtown hotel. Hotel: Sandman Calgary City Centre

Day 2: Calgary – Banff - Canmore

This morning you will meet your fellow travellers at breakfast before you tour the sights of Calgary. After your tour, head for the Rocky Mountains and enter Banff National Park. Tour the region around Banff; see the landmark Banff Springs Hotel, Bow Falls and Tunnel Mountain. Hotel for 2 nights: Coast Canmore

Day 3: Banff & Canmore

The day is free for you to explore the many boutiques and shops along Banff Avenue. Alternatively you can join an optional full day tour to Lake Louise and the Columbia Icefield. At the Columbia Icefield you will board the Ice Explorer onto the surface of the glacier. Return to Canmore in the late afternoon.

Day 4: Canmore - Kamloops

Today your tour of the Canadian parks system continues as you cross the jagged Kicking Horse Pass into British Columbia’s Yoho National Park. Your journey continues to the interior town of Kamloops. Hotel: Ramada Inn

Day 5: Kamloops - Whistler

You can expect a day of dramatic scenery as you head for the coastal mountains and the resort town of Whistler. On arrival in Whistler enjoy the time at leisure. Take the gondola between the two peaks for an exhilarating view of the village and ski slopes, or try your hand at mountain biking, horseback riding or a round of golf, or join one of the optional excursions. Day 6: Whistler - Vancouver

Drive south along the Sea to Sky Highway through a dramatic landscape of jagged fjords and glaciated mountain peaks. On arrival in Vancouver explore the city on a sightseeing tour. The afternoon is free for you to relax or explore. Hotel for 2 nights: Sandman City Centre

Day 7: Vancouver

A free day to explore the city. See the city’s sleek high-rise-framed waterfront, and also visit Vancouver’s historic heart - Gastown, reinvented as a hip hub for culture and cuisine. The afternoon is free to explore on your own. You may like to take the opportunity to embark on an optional tour to Vancouver’s famed Granville Island Public Market. Here, you’ll sample fresh locally-grown produce and wander amid the vibrant stalls that showcase a range of home-made craft and art. Alternatively, you may prefer to simply relax and make use of the facilities at your hotel or further explore the city, you can join an optional full day excursion to Victoria, the charming provincial capital.

Day 8: Vancouver Departure

Tour only guests make your way to the airport today for your onward flight.
