Founded in the 12th century, Copenhagen is strikingly modern and richly traditional in equal measure, bringing you the ramparts of Hamlet’s Elsinore along with the latest in Scandinavian design style. Let the Amalienborg Palace leave you lost for words, the hippy commune of Christiana free your mind, and the delightful Tivoli Gardens excite and entertain you in countless ways.

Nearby St. Nicholas Church is a fine city landmark exhibiting ecclesiastical art.
