You could tour to the Sorrisniva Ice Hotel too, not just to marvel at its hand-crafted structures and sculptures, but also get ‘hands on’ and create your own Arctic art. To see the year out in style, there’s an unmissable opportunity to uncover a wonderland of wintery scenes on an exhilarating husky ride from Tromsø. Your Musher will even let you ‘take the reins’ and experience the thrill of guiding your team of dogs into the unspoilt wilderness. Black Watch also takes you to picturesque Narvik, overlooked by the magnificent, snow-capped peak of Narvikfjellet Mountain and surrounded by Arctic landscapes best seen from the town’s cable car, before your New Year’s Eve celebrations begin in Bergen. Perhaps join local revellers in the city centre in the evening and feel the excitement as the arrival of 2022 nears; then head back on board to watch a spectacular fireworks display as the clock strikes midnight – an incredible way to start the New Year.
