I have been very fortunate to have returned from a truly amazing time on Ambassador Ambition. A 2-night cruise around Britain getting to know this beautiful ship.
I was blown away by every aspect of this ship & her lovely, helpful & welcoming crew but mainly I was blown away by the entertainment. I was expecting some entertainment as it’s generally standard on most cruise ships but this was on another level for such a small ship (max 1200).
There was really something for everyone. There was daily entertainment during the day… live pianist, duets, solo singers, Bingo, trivia & even a giant jigsaw if a quiet time away was all you needed.
Then came the evening, brilliant performances in The Palladium. Surprisingly large stage on this smaller ship & lovely furnished auditorium. Music & dance to entertain all. The first night was Night in Memphis. It's a real get up & dance or clap those hands kind of night.
Second night was less upbeat & more traditional love song kind of night. These were about an hour long each night which warmed you up for Silent Disco night, I loved this. Choose your own music in private & move to your own beat. Such a fun night was had by all.
Second night after the Palladium was ABBA night. I really think this cruise was made for me. Everyone was up on the dance floor, the singers were just amazing & really brought the whole room together for a great night.
The great thing though was that if you didn’t want this entertainment there are plenty of other areas of the ship where you can be yourself. The Turtle Bar is a quiet small bar as well as many more. Overall, this was a fantastic experience for me on my first cruise. I will definitely return for another cruise on this lovely ship. Blown away from a budget-friendly company that gives so much more.
