Families, friends and couples will all find a lot to keep them as busy or relaxed as they like at THB Tropical Island.

The extensive apartment complex is around a 15-minute walk from Playa Dorada Beach, or you can take the resort’s free shuttle service. But THB Tropical Island has so many swimming pools – including several that are heated in winter and one that’s exclusively for adults and has a pool bar – that you might prefer to do all your swimming at the resort.

Families will appreciate the water slides and splash park, as well as the pool games offered by the entertainment team. There is also a spa and excellent sports facilities, including a football pitch and tennis court, plus bicycles for hire.

The apartments are bright and spacious and include kitchenettes kitted out with all of the essentials, plus a balcony or terrace so you can enjoy those freshly whipped-up meals al fresco if you like. If you’d rather someone else do the cooking, head to one of the hotel’s buffet or à la carte restaurants. There are also several bars on site and there’s a varied programme of entertainment in the evenings.
