Hotel Monte Tauro
Overview
Hotel Monte Tauro, Taormina
Sicily
Star Rating: ****
Hotel Monte Tauro is located just a few minutes’ walk from the famous Greek-Roman Theatre of Taormina and offers fantastic views over Sicily’s stunning Mediterranean coastline. As soon as you enter the reception area you will enjoy the sleek, modern design of the property, a theme that is reflected in all the hotel’s beautiful restaurant and bar areas.
The quality of rooms will not disappoint, and those with views out to sea are highly recommended. For those seeking the ultimate luxury, we recommend the junior suites, which also offer wonderful sea views. The hotel’s location is ideal for exploring the very best of Taormina and guests may also enjoy lazy days around the design swimming pool area, or take advantage of the private transfer arrangements (subject to seasonal demand) to Taormina’s beautiful beach areas. Owing to a steep incline leading to the hotel’s entrance (approx. 25m), we do not recommend this hotel to customers with walking difficulties.

Location
Hand Picked By
The hotel boasts a unique location as it is built into the side of a cliff. It really is a lovely hotel but there is a steep incline to get to the town, so it may not suit everyone.
