As its name suggests, Jaz Sharks Bay Hotel has a plot in one of Sharm El Sheikh's top areas.

It's a ten-minute drive to the nearest beach, which is one of Egypt's trademark sandy numbers. The scenic stretch is backed by loads of hotels, so you'll find plenty going on, from watersports centres to restaurants and bars.

Back at base, the hotel fans out around a roomy swimming pool and large sun terraces. Little ones get a kids' pool to splash about in, as well. You can tuck into big buffet-style meals at the restaurant, and sip cold drinks in either of the two bars.
