The province of British Columbia offers a diverse selection of wildlife viewing experiences on both land and sea; the varied landscapes of the province give nature enthusiasts the opportunity to view exceptional wildlife in their natural habitats.

Pacific Gray Whales migrate along the coast twice a year and all five species of Pacific salmon migrate into the rivers of the province’s interior. In the coastal waters you can also view Orca and Humpback whales, sea otters which, once virtually extinct in this region are now making a comeback, and Steller sea lions and seals.

On land we’ve included black bear viewing by boat along the shores of Clayoquot Sound and the forest near Whistler as well as a full-day Grizzly bear viewing excursion.
