This trip fully deserves its name as you’ll spend time in both Banff and Jasper National Parks as well as travelling on Rocky Mountaineer’s NEW route – Passage to the Peaks. Your adventure starts with time in Vancouver before boarding Holland America’s ms Koningsdam for a cruise to Alaska. Then fly to Calgary and transfer by coach to Banff; in all directions you’re surrounded by the rugged peaks of the Canadian Rocky Mountains. Travel to Jasper along the scenic Icefields Parkway then board the world-famous Rocky Mountaineer heading to Kamloops for an overnight hotel stay. Your first day onboard is filled with scenic highlights including passing Mount Robson, the highest peak in the Canadian Rockies. After an overnight stay in Kamloops, reboard the Rocky Mountaineer with highlights including Rogers Pass, Kicking Horse Canyon and the Spiral Tunnels. Time in Banff allows for sightseeing before returning to the airport for your flight back to the UK.
