I've been to Rhodes and Corfu and both islands are easily accessible from our local airport from May to October. With friendly people, local tavernas offering Greek cuisine, fantastic beaches and Unesco World Heritage sites, it's easy to see why people return time and time again. Why not hire a car and explore at your own pace. I would recommend a visit to the beautiful town of Lindos in Rhodes with its Acropolis overlooking the sea.Corfu Town with its Venetian fortresses and cricket pitch is also wll worth a visit.
