All about Kerry

I’m new to the Miles Morgan Travel family, but I’ve been working in travel since 2000! I’m still as passionate and enthusiastic about the industry today as I was when I started 23 years ago, and I love sharing my knowledge with each customer that walks through the door. It’s a great feeling, finding holidays that perfectly suit their needs and help them make magical memories.

When I’m travelling, I love sight-seeing and learning about the local history and culture of a place. It’s wonderful to get a real sense of how others live and have lived in the past! I’m particularly taken with Italian culture and heritage, having travelled from top-to-toe of Italy. I could never tire of Rome: 2000 years of history right before your eyes! From the famous colosseum and the Pantheon to the fantastic museums, monuments and Roman baths, it gives me goosebumps every time. Italy has always been a real love of mine, and I’d recommend it to any customer.

Further afield, I love the USA. I’ve visited California twice, and I’ve also taken two amazing road trips across the states. I loved Hollywood: my dreams came true when I stood on the red carpet at The Dolby Theatre the night before the Oscars, before staying at the iconic Hollywood Roosevelt Hotel on Hollywood Boulevard! It was amazing. Every area of the USA is so different, from the national parks of the Grand Canyon and Yosemite to the huge cities of San Fransisco and San Diego. My favourite US city, though, would have to be New York. It has everything I could ever wish for: the minute I see that incredible skyline I get so excited. It’s a real bucket list destination.

When it comes to cruising, I’ve been lucky enough to sail on several cruise ships and loved the variety of fantastic experiences they had to offer.
