It’s safe to say that I have a lifelong love of travel: I’ve dedicated the majority of my working life to this exciting industry, and I’ve been lucky enough to spend a lot of time abroad on incredible holidays, working as a holiday representative, and even emigrating with my family. Now back in England, I’m delighted to turn my hand back to travel agency with Miles Morgan Travel: booking customers onto new and exciting trips fills me with the thrill I experienced on my own adventures.

Cyprus will always hold a special place in my heart. I was a holiday representative in the Protaras region early in my career, and years later, my family and I were lucky enough to move out there for two years! The island boasts stunning scenery, fascinating cities and kind people, and is steeped in both ancient and recent history, a vital cornerstone to the culture and communities. I’m incredibly grateful for my time there and will forever treasure those memories – I couldn’t recommend Cyprus enough!

I’ve also lived in Germany: a captivating country with a huge offering of wonders to visit. For the outdoor experience, the walking, hiking and skiing opportunities are endless, and the forests are an absolute must. Germany’s also blessed with several beautiful cities – Berlin was a true highlight for me – that are sparked with a vibrant new lease of life in winter, decked with the delightful Christmas markets.

A common myth in the travel industry states that family holidays are limited to stay-cations, but it brings me great joy in finding each family the perfect, unforgettable adventure for them. My family and I have enjoyed various package holidays, across the world: beach breaks in Spain and Turkey, as well as an action-fuelled holiday in Disneyland Paris, and even an escapade across the Atlantic to the Dominican Republic! Most recently we travelled to Iceland, a completely different experience altogether: we hired a car and explored this stunning island, visiting waterfalls, geysers and a thermal spa. We were even lucky enough to see the Northern Lights – a bucket list moment for all of us!
