All about Phoebe

I’ve been a Foreign Exchange Specialist for a little over 4 years now, and I wouldn’t have it any other way! I’ve always found foreign currency fascinating – a true mark of a country’s culture, and a cornerstone to an incredible holiday. There's nothing more rewarding than chatting to excited customers about their trips and providing currency with the best exchange rate in town. My favourite currency must be the Costa Rican Colon: the colours are so bright and printed with the native wildlife. The 2,000 note is a work of art, embossed with a beautiful shark.

My favourite destination would have to be Japan; if I had the chance, I’d go back in a heartbeat. Tokyo blew me away; surprisingly, for such a modern city, it’s utterly beautiful from every angle, and the people were gracious, welcoming and always so helpful. The Shibuya Ward is essential to visit: the central hub of Tokyo, it’s bursting with life, known for its fashionable and vivacious youth culture, and bedecked with the Shibuya Crossing – an infamous intersection of zebra crossings! It may sound mundane, but particularly at nighttime, the surge of life is infectious. It’s a bucket-list experience, that’s for sure.

With Miles Morgan Travel, the world is your oyster – a relief, since I still have an extensive list of dream destinations to tick off! I’d love to feel the bustling city rush of New Delhi and Beijing, gaze at the stunning skylines in New York, and, to contrast, explore the incredible, quiet landscapes of Iceland. Plus, in September 2024 I am incredibly excited to tie the knot in Las Vegas – a trip I’m sure will be unforgettable.
