My top tips: Visit Fisherman’s Wharf's on Pier 39 with its waterfront dining, live music and street performers, Take a trip to “the Rock” (Alcatraz) or visit Union Square with its vibrant shopping, dining and cultural centre. No trip to San Francisco would be complete without a ride on ts world-famous cable car.
