The way you can book your holiday has changed dramatically over the 35 years I have been working in travel, but what hasn't changed is the reason we all want to go on holiday. We want to experience new cultures, lovely beaches, different food, scenery and wildlife and often in a climate considerably warmer than ours. I am not a particularly beach friendly person. I tend to get itchy and restless within thirty minutes, but I love sharing my travel experiences with you and I hope these can help you to choose a holiday that is just right for you. The experiences that imprinted on my memories are, an Elephant ride up to the deserted and eerie city of Fatehpur Sikrie in Northern India, standing in the ruins of Mycenae, home of Agamemnon conquerer of Troy over 3,000 years ago, walking among a herd of kangaroos in South Australia, camping in an Arabian desert listening to improbable stories from an ancient Bedouin tribesman around a blazing camp fire at midnight and although I don't like beaches that much, wandering along nearly deserted beaches in Bali and Lombok in Indonesia. My favourite job in travel, is putting together an exciting and individual itinerary for you. As I am a qualified Australian Specialist, I especially love putting together trips in Australia. I have also enjoyed taking escorted cruises from the local area. It is a wonderfully social occasion and so easy for you to just walk down the road to join a fantastic cruise to the Norwegian Fjords, the Baltic or the Mediterranean. Thank you for recommending the Lanzarote Princess in Playa Blanca. The Holiday went like Clockwork, The resort was lovely and the hotel was in a perfect position. 8 out of 10 for the food, which is a buffet style service, but 10 out of 10 for everything else and your phone call on my return was greatly appreciated.
