I started my travel career in 2001 and joined the brilliant Miles Morgan Travel team in Abergavenny in 2013. I haven’t looked back: I have a huge passion for the industry and find so much joy in discovering new destinations and experiencing new cultures with my family. I can never see myself doing anything else.

I feel really fortunate to have travelled so extensively and have made many special memories across the world. Pinpointing a top destination is almost impossible, but getting married on the beach in Maui was easily one of the highlights of my life. As well as a beautiful wedding day, we hired a car and travelled around the island on the Road to Hana, otherwise known as the Hana Highway: a beautifully scenic coastal drive that hugs the coastline, and truly feels like a film set. We loved the gorgeous array of beachfront restaurants, and the whole island had such a relaxed atmosphere that made for the perfect escape.

A family holiday at Sani Beach on Halkidiki was also incredibly special for me. Sani beach is a high-quality resort consisting of a hotel, beach club and marina. The service is amazing, and the restaurants scattered across the resort all serve delicious cuisine from across the world. We spent the week wandering around the complex, relaxing on the private beaches and in the swimming pools. It’s definitely the most tranquil holiday we’ve had as a family and look forward to returning soon!

For a romantic getaway, I found Venice to be the perfect city break. We hired a water taxi from the airport – a special experience in itself! – and visited Doge’s Palace, the Bridge of Sighs as well as the iconic St. Mark’s Square and the Rialto Bridge. We also caught a waterbus to the Venetian island of Burano, which was a true highlight: infamous for its brightly-coloured houses, it was one of the most picturesque destinations I’ve ever visited. I couldn’t recommend it more, particularly as it’s just a short flight away.

Working for an independent company like Miles Morgan Travel is very rewarding, as it gives me the freedom to tailor-make wonderful trips to suit my customers’ needs. It gives me great ideas for my own holidays: I’ve made it my life’s mission to visit as many destinations as possible and seem to be adding to my bucket list quicker than crossing them off! Next, I’d love to visit Croatia, Singapore, and experience an African Safari.

I booked the above cruise for myself, my husband and 2 friends, and this letter is to let you know how enjoyable we found the whole experience. This is our first time sailing from Bristol and from start to finish it was a joy. As soon as we arrived at the port our cases were taken from our car for us, and straight to the ship. This was very efficient, and much better than sailing from Southampton. The Boudicca was amazing, absolutely spotless with people cleaning all the time and plenty of hand sanitation everywhere there was food. The food was delicious with loads of choice. The staff were cheerful, efficient and seemed to genuinely love their job.This cruise was well suited to people with disabilities and who might use wheelchairs, crutches or sticks as the staff were most solicitous and helpful. I honestly couldn't find any fault at all with the Boudicca. Iceland and Norway were breathtaking and we were able to take advantage of a few trips and make our own way ourselves. Nothing was difficult. I am sure this won't be the last cruise we shall be organising through Miles Morgan, and I thank you for the supreme client service I have had from all your staff, especially Amy Corran of the Abergavenny branch who has been wonderful. We have returned home after a super holiday in Madeira and just wanted to thank you for the time and trouble you took in arranging what you felt would meet our requirements. We arrived home from our trip to Sri Lanka and the Maldives which you arranged for us through Travel2. Can I take this opportunity to thank you for all your effort in making this a very memorable trip. I know that there was a slight problem with airline seats, but we managed quiet nicely. Sri Lanka was very interesting, although the driving standard did leave a lot to be desired. We stayed in very nice hotels of a high standard. We saw so much wildlife that it became unreal, sadly we did not see any Leopards, never mind. The Maldives was paradise on earth. We just did nothing, except eat, drink and swim. A friend lent me an underwater camera and I did manage to get some reasonable shots of the fish. Seeing the variety of colourful fish was an extra bonus. Also I got to fly in a Twin Otter, Float Plane, a first for me. Thank you once again. Hopefully see you before long as we have some other travel plans which you might just help with.
