Full Itinerary

Day 1 - UK - Basel

Titan’s VIP door-to-door travel service collects you from home, for your flight to Basel. Upon arrival, embark MS Serenade 1, where light refreshments are available. A welcome cocktail and Captain’s gala dinner are served this evening.

Day 2 - Basel (Mount Rigi)

On your second day, join our excursion to Mount Rigi, the so-called ‘Queen of the Mountains’. Following a coach ride to Arth-Goldau, hop aboard the cogwheel train for a journey to the top of Rigi Kulm, the highest peak in the massif. Enjoy gloriously sweeping views of the surrounding mountains and lakes, before taking the cogwheel train down to Vitznau to join a relaxing steamboat cruise across scenic Lake Lucerne. Following free time in the beautiful medieval city of Lucerne, we return to MS Serenade 1 and set sail for Breisach, Germany.

Day 3 - Breisach

Choose to join our optional excursion to explore the beautiful natural landscape of the Schwarzwald (Black Forest) - an expanse of hills, valleys and dense forest. This excursion includes a cruise across peaceful Lake Titisee and a visit to Triberg, home of the world’s biggest cuckoo clock. Or enjoy a relaxing day pottering around the pretty, pastel-hued town of Breisach.

Day 4 - Strasbourg

Having arrived at Strasbourg in the early hours, we invite you to join our excursion around this fascinating Alsatian city, home to the European Parliament, a magnificent Gothic cathedral and a UNESCO-listed Old Town. Our tour includes a canal cruise around the historic waterways of ‘Petite France’, where picturesque half-timbered buildings line the way. You have the rest of the day to enjoy Strasbourg at leisure.

Day 5 - Speyer - Rüdesheim

Speyer day 5 sn4 tour of this delightfully walkable town, including a visit to the impressive UNESCO World Heritage-listed Romanesque Cathedral, a worthy mausoleum for several of Germany’s emperors and kings. Before we set sail for Rüdesheim later this afternoon, there is time to discover more of the city’s legacies.

Day 6 - Rüdesheim - Lorelei Passage - Koblenz

We set sail for the interesting gateway city of Koblenz, via the Lorelei Passage, a slate formation shrouded in legend, which naturally shapes the twists of the beautiful Rhine Gorge. In the afternoon, join us for a tour of Koblenz and visit to Ehrenbreitstein Fortress, which stands guard over the city and rivers below.

Day 7 - Cologne

rrive in the architecturally magnificent city of Cologne early this afternoon, and join us for a walking tour to uncover its treasures, including the awe-inspiring Gothic Cathedral, one of the largest in Europe. You have a little time to explore at leisure before you will want to return to our ship, ready for the Captain’s farewell gala dinner on board tonight.

Day 8 - Cologne - Düsseldorf - UK

We transfer to Düsseldorf Airport for your return flight to the UK. Upon arrival, your Titan vehicle will be waiting for the journey home.
