Unrivalled luxury, romantic white-sand beaches with the texture of talcum powder, a barefoot blissful atmosphere and an amazing underwater world is how I would sum up the Maldives. Once you’ve settled onto a sun lounger with one toe dipped in the warm ocean, a good book and cocktail in hand, a weight seems to lift. Whether you’d like water villa in an exclusive 5* resort or a beachfront villa on a smaller traditional island, I’d be delighted to assist in your travel arrangements.

This Indian Ocean paradise is made up of over 1100 coral islands, only 202 of which are inhabited. Top tip: Upgrade to a water villa if budget permits. Don’t miss: the worlds'only underwater restaurant at the Conrad Rangali.

The Maldives is the ultimate getaway from it all beach destination. With white sandy beaches edged with tropical vegetation it really is paradise. Swim in the clear warm ocean with its abundant sea life including turtles, dolphins and sharks (friendly ones). I have stayed at: Kurimathi, Kurumba, Baros, maafushivaru, Constance Moofushi and Vivanti Taj Coral Reef, each offers something different, come in and see me and I would be happy to recommend the best island for you based on your requirements.

I have been to many very beautiful places all over the world, but the Maldives beats all of them hands down. I have never seen sea so blue or sand so white. There are many islands to choose from so give me a call to help you to find one that suits both your taste and budget.

A few years ago I stayed on the island of Baros in the Maldives. I was hoping for that ‘desert island’ experience and it certainly lived up to expectations. You could walk around the island in 20 minutes or so, the beach was soft white sand and the house reef was superb for snorkelling. We stayed in a water bungalow on stilts above the ocean with steps down to the water - fabulous. The food and drink were great, with the freshest fish you could imagine. I really recommend a holiday to the Maldives at least once in your life.

I must say as I flew into the Maldives I was left speechless. I do believe it is one of the most unspoilt destinations you'll find on earth. Clear blue seas lap against the white sandy beaches, tropical palm trees sway in the gentle breeze and transport is by boat or seaplane. The people are open and friendly and food is fresh and delicious - a tasty fish curry is the national dish. Unspoilt coral reefs and abundant marine life including manta rays, sharks and turtles make the Maldives a diver's dream destination. November to April are the driest months and the most popular time to travel. The Maldives provide the ultimate beach escape. Expect to lose all sense of time, what day it is and what's going on elsewhere. This is the home of 'no news, no shoes' after all. From a simple beachfront bungalow to an exclusive overwater villa, there is something for all.

‘Paradise Personified’ - need I say more? The ultimate in exclusive island hideaways and ideal for those seeking peace and solitude. If you want to leave all your worries at home this is the place to get away from it all. I stayed in Bandos Island Resort and it's perfect for a first-time visit. The rooms are just steps away from what seems like your own private beach and it's only 20 minutes away from the main island by speed boat. What a way to arrive! Give me a call to find your perfect island retreat.
