The capital of the Red Sea. Once a little fishing village, in the last few years Hurghada has been transformed into one of the most attractive beach and diving destinations globally, thanks to a 20km stretch of beautiful beach and its untouched reefs. Life in Hurghada city has two completely different faces; during the daylight hours it is the place to enjoy a peaceful sunny day and visit its market and bazaars - life then reflects a typical Egyptian atmosphere; once the sun goes down the tempo goes up…so if you are looking for some action, simply head to one of many down town clubs! Hurghada is the gift of its location: nearby islands are perfect for snorkelling, diving and fishing trips; mountain and desert surround the city giving the opportunity for the ultimate desert safari; around three hours drive will take you to Luxor and a flight of just one hour to Cairo.
