Amy
I am the manager at Bishops Cleeve. I started in travel
in 2001 as a modern apprentice and worked my way up through the ranks. I
have been at this branch for 6 years. I pride myself on having a welcoming
shop, where we offer great advice to our customers. My favourite destination
is Florida; I have been to Disneyland twice and am a real theme park fan.
Other destinations visited include Africa, the Mediterranean and the Caribbean.
I am also the office ski expert having skied in both Austria and Italy over
the past few years – It might not be for everyone but I think it’s great!
Lisa
I’m Assistant Manager here in Bishops Cleeve and have
been in the industry for 3 years.
I am lucky enough to have travelled to lots of lovely places and feel sure
I could help you with your next trip. If a break in New York is what you
are after, I am your person! I know all the places to shop; I did my Christmas
shopping there! I’ve also visited Morocco, Gran Canaria and Majorca. Mostly
recently I have been to Mexico which was great for both beaches and nightlife
– I’d recommend it!!
Kate
I started my career in Travel in 2002, working overseas as a resort representative in Crete and Lanzarote.
I have travelled to Sri Lanka & the Maldives in 2004 travelling
around the south-east coast from the capital Colombo right along the
coast to the Yala national park. Then onto the paradise on earth that
is, The Maldives. A truly tropical haven, I was lucky enough to see 5
different Islands including enjoying a private barbeque party at a
completely secluded island in the middle of the Indian ocean, amazing!!
Most recently I have travelled to Kenya on safari, including the
Samburu National park, Lake Naivasha and The legendary Masi Mara. I
teamed this with 4 days relaxation on the spice island of Zanzibar.
I have been lucky enough to experience lots of countries; again
recently I travelled to Australia and completing a journey across the
county on one of the 3 famous rail journeys, the Indian Pacific. This
journey took a mammoth 65 hours, from Perth to Sydney – with a stopover
in spectacular Dubai on the way. I have also travelled to Jordan for a
7 night journey through the country right from Amman, through to the
Dead Sea. During this trip I enjoyed the full Lawrence of Arabia
experience sleeping and listening to stories and tales under the stars
with the Bedouins in Wadi Rum, then finished with trekking to the
treasury and the monastery in Petra.
