When I arrived at Heathrow for our BA flights check in and Security went very smoothly and quick as well no long queue or wait at terminal 3. Very impressed. I boarded the Avalon Envision and was pleasantly surprised at how lovely the reception area was set up and check in again ran very smoothly. Then of course we had to sample a cocktail before we headed to our Balcony Suite Cabins for the next 2 Nights... how lucky.
Next morning has a delightful breakfast with so much choice everything you could imagine. After a very informative morning then moved onboard the Uniworld SS Beatrice for lunch which had the most impressive Buffet. First stop was the Salad Bar to start and then second course had to be Hungarian Goulash can't go to Hungary without trying the traditional dish.. was delicious. For dessert you had something for the sweet tooth people and a wonderful cheese selection with pickles... I am getting Hungry just thinking about it!!
After the afternoon are training and learning more about the River Cruises then headed back to freshen up onboard the Avalon Envision to enjoy a 4-course dinner. Which has a set menu but had choices for each course. I of course picked the Lobster Start and Beef main which was extremely yummy. These were complimented with Wine with the option or Red, White and Rose, there is also non-alcoholic wine and soft drinks available. After dinner drinks were in the lounge along with the entertainment from a local band so we danced the night away.
The next morning checked out of Avalon Envision to then stay onboard the Scenic Amber in a Balcony Suite and we had a lovely view over the River in the Sunshine. Then I had the opportunity to look around 9 of River Cruise boats which are moored on the Danube. I course go to sample more food which I did on the TUI a 3-course lunch and then in the evening another 4-course dinner on Scenic Amber.. I am getting bigger by the minute. All the food I has was Amazing couldn't fault any of it at all.
I did manage to also explore Budapest we crossed over the bridge to Buda to see the Castle and the stunning views from right at the top. Went to pest to see the Parliament building and the Palace all incredible. I cannot explain enough how beautiful Budapest is so much, so I want to go back and visit it all again.
