Full Itinerary
Day 1: Chester
Titan’s VIP door-to-door travel service collects you from home, for your journey to historical Chester. We aim for you to arrive at the hotel between 4pm and 5pm, with the rest of the day to settle in.
Day 2: Port Sunlight
We head for the 19th-century garden village of Port Sunlight and its Heritage Centre. Concerned with the welfare of his soap factory workers and their families, William Hesketh Lever played an integral part in the design and construction of a unique village, complete with a church, school, cottage hospital and even an art gallery, all set within 130 acres of beautifully maintained parkland. Today, we have the chance to learn and experience this fascinating, living display of life in bygone times. This evening we’ll experience a town crier who’ll entertain us with tales of this historic city and its traditions.
Day 3: Llangollen
Making our way across the border into Wales, we take in some spectacular scenery before arriving at Carrog. From here we board the Llangollen Steam Railway for a journey flanked by the banks of the beautiful River Dee and Berwyn Mountains. Arriving in the pretty town of Llangollen, we’ll have time to explore the riverside park or independent shops before making our way back to our hotel. Please note: On some departures, the train journey may be by diesel engine rather than steam, due to operational reasons.
Day 4: Chester
Today is free to fully acquaint yourself with the city. Nowhere in Britain has more black and white architecture, giving Chester its unique medieval look. Spend time in the shops and museums or take an informative tour of the city’s archaeological treasures, guided by a professional Roman.
Day 5: Chester
Today we bid farewell to Chester. You’ll be collected at 10am by your Titan vehicle, for the journey home.
