Overview

Hotel Palme offers incredible value in an enviable location. The town centre with its plethora of shops, cafes and restaurants is just a 6 minute walk away and the lake just 10 however for those who would rather take the bus, a hopper service does depart from the end of the driveway each hour. With a classic exterior, the Hotel Palme focuses on home comforts and simple decor. Rooms are modest yet are each equipped with either a balcony or terrace.

There are two large pools set in the gardens with the addition of a small, shallow children's pool. There is a pool bar offering a drinks service and plenty of sun loungers and parasols to ensure you make the most of the glorious Garda sunshine. Whilst there are no spa facilities onsite, you are free to use those at the Palme's sister hotel Park Hotel Oasi. There are also some fantastic local beaches you can make the most of which are located just a 10 minute walk from the hotel on the lakefront promenade.

With the resorts of Malcesine,Riva and Peschiera within travelling distance on the local buses and the ferry port located on the main promenade of Garda, there is no shortage of opporunity to explore the other resorts on the lake. Even Verona is a mere 40 kilometers away should you wish to take in a night at the Opera.

Restaurant and Bars

There is one restaurant at the Hotel Palme which caters for both the breakfast and dinner service. A quaint and warm space with views of the gardens and lake beyond, the decor is a mix of Italian and Alpine influence creating a comfortable and homely atmosphere.

The bar is open throughout the day and can provide small snacks as well as a drinks from their wine list and cocktail menu. The lounge located just off of the bar is the perfect space for settling down in the evening and taking in the lovely views over the garden.

Pools and Beaches

There are two outdoor pools tucked away in the palm fringed gardens of Hotel Palme and a separate children's paddling pool. All pools are located close to the terrace and are surrounded by parasols and sun loungers for guests to use.

There are beaches on the coast of Garda that offer spectacular views of the lake and mountains belong as well as the opportunity to take a dip in the fresh, cool water. Many of the beaches are shingle or pebble but swimming shoes can be purchased at most shops along the promenade if you find this uncomfortable.
