Full Itinerary

Day 1 UK - Montréal

Titan’s VIP door-to-door travel service collects you from home for your journey to the airport and flight to Montréal. On arrival we transfer to our hotel for two nights, the Best Western Ville-Marie (3T+).

Day 2 Montréal

This morning we will enjoy a guided tour of Montréal, a charming and historic city at the confluence of the St Lawrence and Ottawa rivers, discovering its French heritage and taking in highlights such as Notre-Dame Basilica and the Old Town. You are free to explore at your own pace for the rest of the day.

Day 3: Montréal - Québec City

Today we travel north-east to Québec City, one of the oldest European cities in North America, founded in 1608. We discover the historic centre - a UNESCO World Heritage Site - on a guided tour this morning, before checking in to the Delta Québec (4T), Clarendon Hotel Québec City (4T) or Hotel Chateau Laurier Québec (4T), where we will be staying for two nights. The rest of the day is free to make your own discoveries, perhaps browsing the boutiques of the old walled city and sampling the fine French cuisine in the local bistros. Alternatively, join us on an optional scenic cruise along the St Lawrence River.

Day 4 Québec City

A free day to relax or explore the city at leisure, or, if you prefer, optional excursions will be available.

Day 5 Québec City - Ottawa

We continue our journey to Ottawa, Canada’s capital, today. After an introductory tour of the city we transfer to our hotel, the centrally-located Lord Elgin (4T), and the rest of the day is free. Ottawa is a fine city for walking and the stately Parliament, the National Gallery of Canada and the UNESCO-listed Rideau Canal are just some of the attractions waiting to be discovered.

Day 6 Ottawa

Today you are free to explore Ottawa by yourself. Founded in 1826 under the name Bytown, the capital city occupies a picturesque location on the banks of the Ottawa River and is home to a wide variety of museums, galleries and other cultural attractions as well as many green spaces to enjoy a stroll such as Major’s Hill Park, which offers wonderful views over the Rideau Canal.

Day 7 Ottawa - Toronto

Following the shore of Lake Ontario, we travel to Toronto, Canada’s biggest city, checking in to the Sheraton Centre Toronto Hotel (4T) for a two-night stay. There will be an optional visit to the 553-metre high CN Tower, which was the tallest tower in the world when it was completed in 1976. There are superb views over the city from the observation deck, which has a partly-glazed floor for a straight-down look at Toronto. For those who prefer to keep their feet on terra firma, there are plenty of other attractions here, such as the fascinating Royal Ontario Museum, whose vast collections include everything from ancient Egyptian and Roman antiquities to dinosaur skeletons, meteorites, Native Canadian art and historic costumes.

Day 8 Niagara Falls

Toronto is perfectly located for a full-day excursion to experience one of the great natural wonders of the world: Niagara Falls. View their awe-inspiring power from the promenade or, if you want to get even closer, you can choose to take an optional boat trip to the base of the Falls or a helicopter ride for a panoramic view of this magnificent force of nature.

Day 9 Toronto - Calgary - Banff

We head to Toronto Airport today for an internal Air Canada flight to Calgary, in Alberta. Upon arrival we transfer to the charming resort town of Banff, in the Rocky Mountains, and our hotel for the next two nights, the Caribou Lodge (3T+) or Ptarmigan Inn (3T+).

Day 10 Banff - Lake Louise - Banff

Our included tour today takes in the surrounds of Banff and the famous emerald-green Lake Louise, a stunning glacial lake surrounded by snow-capped mountains. The gardens of the Fairmont Chateau Hotel present an ideal vantage point for viewing the lake and the Victoria Glacier or you may choose to take a gondola to the mountaintop for one of the best views of Banff National Park.

Day 11 Rocky Mountaineer (Banff - Kamloops)

This morning we transfer to Banff railway station to board the legendary Rocky Mountaineer, surely the most comfortable and romantic way to enjoy the breathtaking majesty of the Canadian Rockies. The exhilarating two-day route between Banff and Vancouver, via Kamloops, takes us through lush valleys, along the shores of sparkling lakes and over dramatic mountain passes. The unforgettable highlights of the section between Banff and Kamloops include the Continental Divide, Kicking Horse Canyon and Rogers Pass. We stay in Kamloops this evening (arranged by Rocky Mountaineer).

Day 12 Rocky Mountaineer (Kamloops - Vancouver)

We continue on our rail journey through British Columbia today, travelling through winding river canyons and forests surrounded by the peaks of the Coast and Cascade mountain ranges and the Fraser River Valley to Vancouver. Upon arrival at Vancouver railway station, we transfer to the Pinnacle Vancouver Harbourfront (4T), Holiday Inn Vancouver-Centre Broadway (3T) or Exchange Hotel (4T), where we will be staying for our last three nights in Canada.

Day 13 Vancouver

We enjoy a guided tour of Vancouver this morning, taking in some of the main sights and landmarks of this attractive maritime city including Stanley Park, Chinatown and the historic Gastown district. The rest of the day is free or you may choose to join our optional excursion to Capilano Suspension Bridge including afternoon tea.

Day 14 Vancouver

A full day to explore Vancouver at leisure, or you could take our optional trip to Vancouver Island by ferry to visit Victoria, the capital of British Columbia, and Butchart Gardens, a collection of spectacular themed gardens filled with numerous varieties of colourful flowering plants and trees.

Day 15 Vancouver - In flight

Transfer to Vancouver Airport for an overnight flight back to the UK.

Day 16 UK

Upon arrival, a Titan vehicle will be waiting for the journey home.
