Botswana Adventure

One of the best safari destinations in Africa, Botswana boast game in abundance, scenery that goes on for miles and an authentic feeling of the true outdoors experience. This adventure safari takes in some of the best game viewing in northern Botswana accompanied by excellent and experienced guides and support staff. Afterwards, two nights at Victoria Falls provides the ideal way to reflect on this amazing holiday. Accommodation while camping is in comfortable twin bedded walk-in tents, lit by LED lights and oil or paraffin lamps. They are en suite, with a long drop WC and bucket shower.

Full Itinerary

Day 1: UK - Johannesburg - Botswana

Overnight flight from Heathrow to Johannesburg to connect with your flight to Maun in Botswana.

Day 2: Moremi Game Reserve

Once in Maun, transfer via light aircraft to Xakanaxa in the Moremi Game reserve. In the afternoon, take your first game drive in this renowned wildlife area. (FB incl. local drinks)

Day 3 - 4: Moremi Game Reserve

The habitat in Moremi extremely diverse, ranging from open floodplains, marshes and lagoons to woodland, savannah and papyrus-fringed channels. As a result, the game viewing is excellent, with the area renowned for its large herds of elephant and buffalo, prides of lions and, with luck, wild dogs. Explore the area with your guide. Day 5 - 7: Khwai

A slow drive north east through the Moremi to the Khwai community area, following the Khwai River watercourse. Stop at the scenic Dombo Hippo Pools before arriving at the next campsite. Spend 3 nights/2 days exploring, on day and night game drives (which are permitted in the community area), walks and mokoro trips (weather and water levels permitting). (FB incl. local drinks)

Day 8 - 10: Chobe National Park

Continue further north to Chobe National Park and an exclusive wilderness camp in the Savute region for the next 3 nights. The scenery here differs dramatically from the previous areas, with outcrops of volcanic rock towering over the savannah. Prides of lions are frequently seen, along with cheetah and elephant. Day 11 - 12: Kasane - Victoria Falls

A picnic lunch and a boat cruise en route to Kasane, where you will leave your guide and continue by road to Victoria Falls for a 2 night stay at Ilala Lodge in Victoria Falls. Here take in the majesty of the Falls, enjoy a sunset cruise on the Zambezi River and take the Flight of the Angels and see the Falls from the air, a spectacular experience. (BB)

Day 13: Victoria Falls - Johannesburg

Fly from Victoria Falls via Johannesburg and overnight to London.

Day 14: UK

Arrive at Heathrow in the early morning.
